A Day to Remember
September 11th is one of the most rememberable, tragic days in our country's history. A total of nineteen terroists hijacked four of our planes. Two of those planes were flown into the World Trade Center, also known as the Twin Towers. Another was aimed for the White House, but was flown into the Pentagon and the other crashed into an open field. There were no survivors on any of these four planes. Almost 3000 Americans died that day and over 6000 were injured. That day was the turning point in our nation's history. Since then, our secruity everywhere has been updated at schools and at airports. Also, President George W. Bush signed a law called the "Patriot Act". This law enables law enforcement agencies to search tellaphone and email communications. September 11th has changed the way we live today and how the next generation will live tomorrow. There will be more secruity updates and more ways to find out if there ever will be another terroist attack.
